Bishop Dorothea Dixon is a native of Philadelphia, PA. Her late grandmother, Evangelist Rachel Jane Burgett, nurtured her in the ways of the LORD. She received the HOLY GHOST at the age of 11 years old and accepted the call of GOD at the age of 18 years old. It was a pleasure to work in her home church, Rose of Sharon Apostolic Faith Church, under the leadership of Elder I.C. Hall, Pastor.

She was faithful in the ministry and served there in many capacities such as, Business Manager for the Choir, PA State Choir Director, Sunday School Teacher, served on the Usher Board, Bible Class Instructor, Coordinator of the Recreation Department and other Auxiliaries.

In 1977, Bishop Dixon was ordained as an Evangelist, and in 1982 she was installed Pastor of Faith Tabernacle Body of Christ Church, under the leadership of Apostle Hugh Carmichael of New Haven, CT.

During 1979, Bishop Dixon organized the Interdenominational Fellowship of Churches and served as President. Several year later she founded New Gethsemane United Pentecostal Church of Camden, NJ. She also founded New Covenant Deliverance Ministry in Camden, NJ, and the co-founder of New Gethsemane Deliverance Outreach Ministry in Meriden, CT.

In 1989, Bishop Dixon was consecrated Overseer by Bishop George Owens of Clinton, NC and Apostle Leonard Willis of Philadelphia, PA.

She has also worked with House of Prayer & Deliverance Church in Bridgeport, CT. under the leadership of Overseer Dr. Christine McCaskill. Presently she is service as Senior Pastor under the church name of Fellowship of Healing Outreach Ministries, Inc. combining two churches, one in Philadelphia, the other in Camden New Jersey into one church. 

Most inspiring is her devotion to GOD and her diligence to defend the faith. Dorothea Dixon was officially consecrated to the office of bishop by Bishop Marcia J. Smith-Perkins at a special consecration service August 1, 2020 and later appointed to head the Mid - Atlantic Jurisdiction, of Living Water Bible Fellowship Worldwide Chosen Generation Church, Inc. headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. The whole of the Mid-Atlantic Jurisdiction reaches from Philadelphia, Pa, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey 

Church planter and organizer extraordinaire, Bishop Dixon has the anointing to organize the people of GOD and to strengthen churches, preparing them to fight in this last push before the rapture.   

She graduated from Simon Gratz High School in Philadelphia, PA. She studied Elementary Education at Cheyney University in Cheyney, PA. She attended Franklin School of Science & Arts, of Philadelphia, PA, where she also studied Medical Technology. She furthered her biblical education and received the Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and her Master of Science in Theology at His Excellence Theological Seminary of Newburgh, NY. Recently, Bishop Dorothea Dixon has received her Doctor of Divinity, from Jameson Bible Institute, Philadelphia, PA. She has two beautiful children Shaffon and Quason, and a godmother of many children.

Overseer Dixon moves in the prophetic ministry area under the unction of the HOLY GHOST. She has a message for this mess-age and is a preaching machine.
